AN OCCULT DEMON HUNTER METROIDVANIA

GENRE: METROIDVANIA, SIDE SCROLLER, EXPLORATION

I think this metroidvania has a great concept and setting.

It just released, but has already got great reviews!

Blade Chimera is a cyberpunk metroidvania set in a demon-ravaged Osaka.

You play as Shin, a memory-lost demon hunter, partnered with Lux, a shapeshifting demon sword that manipulates time.

Together, you battle demons, unlock skills, and uncover the truth of Shin's past.

The game features intense combat with various weapons, an expansive skill tree, and exploration of a vast, corrupted world.

It was developed by Team Ladybug who also made Touhou Luna Nights, Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth.

A FIRST PERSON HORROR DRIVING GAME INSPIRED BY UKRAINE

GENRE: ADVENTURE, SIMULATION, WAR, HORROR

This game has really caught my attention.

This group of Ukrainian devs made the hit “No one lives under the lighthouse” and now they are making a first person horror experience inspired by their own experiences living as Ukrainians during the current conflict.

You play as a truck driver tasked with supporting the frontline and must ensure zero losses on your “special operation”.

I think expressing your own experiences, good or bad, through any medium of art is a great thing.

The game looks incredibly daunting, emotional, hard hitting and terrifying.

I’m looking forward to supporting this project whilst it is in development.

There isn’t a set release date yet, but I did want to highlight the project as it is something I want to follow as it is developed.

The dev team are currently posting updates on their socials.

There past projects have been great so hopefully this will be too.

A NEW TAKE ON TETRIS!

GENRE: ARCADE, TETRIS, PUZZLE

Hot Wax is essential Tetris but with candles that can burn away.

You can strategically place the wax blocks to create paths of slowly-unfolding chemical reactions.

This change gives the usual format a new dynamic that I’m sure Tetris lovers will enjoy. :)

ANOTHER HARROWING EXPERIENCE BY THIS AWESOME DEV TEAM!

GENRE: ESCAPE, PUZZLE, HORROR

You may have seen YouTubers playing this dev team’s latest hit “School Boy Runaway”.

However, Linked Squad also have another fun, but intense horror experience called “Metel - Horror Escape”.

You are trapped by a serial killer and your job is to figure out how to escape without being caught.

However, whilst trying to escape you must ensure items and objects are left as they were e.g. Opened doors are closed behind you etc. Otherwise the killer will realise you’ve tried to escape.

This makes for a really nerve-racking experience!

A RESOURCE GATHERING AND BUILDING CLICKER

GENRE: SIMULATION, CLICKER, CASUAL, RELAXING, CRAFTING

Click Mage is a 2D resource-gathering and building game with charming pixel art.

As an apprentice mage stranded on a remote island after a magical mishap, your goal is to collect resources, upgrade your powers, and build a portal to return home.

The gameplay revolves around harvesting and processing resources, upgrading your click power, and constructing buildings.

You'll trade with a merchant, manage resources, and unlock new tools and structures using blueprints.

With a focus on a manageable resource system, the game avoids overwhelming numbers and emphasizes thoughtful upgrades and progression.
