Game #1 - A Game About Digging A Hole

DIGGY DIGGY HOLE ❤️

GENRE: VOXEL, EXPLORATION, SANDBOX, CRAFTING, MINING

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC

This game went pretty viral on TikTok prior to launch.

It’s now released and the reviews have been very positive.

The concept is simple, you love digging holes, so you buy a new property and dig a hole in the back garden.

You find and collect resources that allow you to upgrade your digging equipment so you can keep on digging.

There’s also a chance you discover a secret…

If you like voxels then I highly recommend. Destroying voxels is always very satisfying.

The game is pretty simple but still a lot of fun.

If you want a straight forward and fun experience then this is a good pick.

I’m glad simple games are still being made. :)

Game #2 - Maxwell’s Puzzling Demon

A GAME INSPIRED BY MAXWELL’S DEMON

GENRE: PUZZLE, SOKOBAN, DIFFICULT, LOGIC, ABSTRACT

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC

This game was inspired by James Clerk Maxwell’s famous thought experiment from 1867 that appears to disprove the second law of thermodynamics - Maxwell’s Demon.

Maxwell is probably the most under appreciated scientific mind. He’s up there with Newton and Einstein, but the general public don’t really know his name.

I’m happy to share a game inspired by one of his ideas!

The thought experiment imagines a demon that controls a door between two chambers containing gas.

When individual molecules approach the door the demon let’s fast moving molecules go one way and slow moving molecules go the other way.

The end result is a decrease in the total entropy of the system without any energy expenditure, thus appearing to break the second law of thermodynamics.

This thought experiment played a huge roles in developing information theory and is still debated today.

This puzzle game takes inspiration from the thought experiment and let’s you play as a demon that has to arrange “hot” and “cold” blocks in order to solve puzzles.

The game has 350 levels so there is a ton of content to enjoy.

With a huge range of difficulties for all players.

Game #3 - Parking Garage Rally Circuit

RETRO RACING - IN A PARKING GARAGE!

GENRE: RACING, ARCADE, RETRO, DRIVING, 1990s, 3D

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC, MAC, LINUX, STEAM DECK

I don’t play a ton of racing games, but I do like a really well made racing game.

This game comes from the maker of “JellyCar Worlds” which is an classic game from the Cool Math Games era.

The driving feels great and I really enjoy drifting around tight corners trying to beat my previous time.

This game is FUN. It takes me back to the days of SEGA and having nothing to worry about.

The animations and small details really make the game feel fantastic.

Definitely check this out if you like racing!

Survive, shoot, and tear through chaos in this brutal, one-man-made, FPS.

You play in a dystopian Eastern European dictatorship, you’ll battle mutated horrors, ruthless soldiers, and nightmarish bosses while uncovering the dark secrets of a corrupt regime.

With 12 weapons, a savage damage system, and plenty of Easter eggs, every fight is thrilling.

Another amazing example of what a solo dev can achieve.
