FlyKnight has boomed straight after its release!

There was a lot of anticipation for the game as the dev, Wabbaboy, had previously made a prototype of the game for a game jam and received great feedback.

They then decided to make the game into a full release.

FlyKnight was inspired by the Souls games and also has that nostalgic RuneScape vibe going for it.

The game is an old-school first person dungeon crawler with action-packed combat, exploration, and RPG elements.

You play as a squire of the Flyknights, tasked with defeating the evil witch Lunamoth and lifting her curse, which prevents the people of the realm from growing wings.

The game is co-op (2-4 players) which I love. Being able to dungeon crawl with friends is always awesome.

It also has great combat with some good boss fights in there too.

I really recommend checking it out!

A STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL STORY GAME

GENRE: STORY RICH, CINEMATIC, WALKING SIM, CASUAL

Available Platforms: PC, STEAM DECK, PS5, XBOX SERIES S, XBOX SERIES X

Harold Halibut is a handmade narrative game about friendship that has really grabbed my attention.

I have still to play it, but I’m hoping to in the next week or two.

The art style is amazing. All the game assets were created by hand in real life. One of the game trailers shows some of this process and the awesome team behind it.

This level of detail and dedication blows my mind.

The dev team has really went the extra mile to make the game look beautiful and more importantly to bring the game world to life.

I’m really excited to play it and I just wanted to put it on your radar if you are a big fan of beautiful games that narrative heavy.

ANOTHER DIGGING GAME FOR YOU.

GENRE: MINING, COLLECTATHON, UNDERGROUND, EXPLORATION

Available Platforms: PC, MAC, ANDROID

On Friday, I recommend the latest viral digging game “A Game About Digging Holes“ which got a lot of interest from you.

So I’ve decided to recommend another digging game since this is something that is clearly very popular. :)

DigDigDrill is also a game where you dig for minerals and treasure whilst upgrading your equipment and abilities.

The game is very satisfying!

It’s also a hidden gem (no pun intended) with only 210 total reviews! (“Very Positive” rating)

THE SIMPSONS + LITTLE NIGHTMARES

GENRE: HORROR, CROSSOVER, FEVER DREAM

Available Platforms: PC, MAC, LINUX

This game is a fan made game that combines The Simpsons and Little Nightmares.

Ignoring any copyright issues, this game is good for a fan game!

It is completely free to play and is worth doing so if you want a unique experience that isn’t too long and is fun to play.

You play as Bart who is trapped in one of his own nightmares.

During the game you’ll see lots of familiar characters and references to the show.

I really like Mrs Krabappel’s hydra monster that chases you down the school corridor.

It’s worth checking out if you’re a Simpsons fan.

I wanted to recommend something a bit different, so I think this fits the bill.
