A FANTASTIC AND REPLAYABLE “MICROSHOOTER” (ONE OF MY FAVS)

GENRE: BOOMER SHOOTER, FPS, OLD SCHOOL, FUNNY

I LOVE this game! I’ve recently been looking for shorter indie games that can be played in one sitting.

Chop Goblins is exactly that! It is a ‘microshooter’ which is a FPS boomer shooter design to be played in one sitting or whenever you feel like revisiting it.

The game is shorter, but doesn’t compromise on quality at all.

For me this is perfect when I want to play something new but don’t feel like starting a huge 50+ hour game.

The game took me 69 minutes to complete and it was fantastic!

Chop Goblins is a bite-sized, fast-paced FPS where you accidentally unleash a horde of mischievous, blade-wielding goblins—and now you have to chase them through time to stop their chaotic chopping spree.

From modern city streets to 1800s Transylvania, ancient Greece, and even the future, you’ll blast through five unique levels using an arsenal of fun and deadly weapons (including an automatic stake gun).

The weapons handle well and it feels really satisfying to play.

The game is definitely “out there”. In one level the boss fight requires you to fight a singing Dracula which is hilarious.

But most importantly, the game is FUN! Chop Goblins is a short, wacky and incredibly fun experience!

This is a must play for anyone wanting a shorter indie game and loves old school boomer shooters!

Top marks! Must play! :)

A NEW COMEDY HORROR CO-OP!

GENRE: CO-OP, HORROR, FUNNY, EARLY ACCESS

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC

Another great addition to the horror comedy genre!

This is definitely one of the better horror comedies since Lethal Company.

It has quickly received outstanding reviews and looks like it will be the next big co-op hit.

R.E.P.O. is a co-op horror game where up to six players take on the role of robotic retrieval agents, sent by a mysterious AI to recover valuable (and fully physics-based) objects from eerie, abandoned locations. Sounds easy—until the monsters show up.

You'll need teamwork, stealth, and a steady hand as you haul everything from fragile vases to grand pianos, all while dodging supernatural horrors.

Use proximity voice chat to coordinate (or panic), earn cash to upgrade your robotic abilities, and try not to drop the goods... or scream too loud.

If you love co-op horror then this is a must play!

CAN YOU SURVIVE TIL DAWN?

If you like Vampire Survivors then this is a great choice!

Vampire Survivors never appealed to me until I actually played it and then I fell in love with it!

20 Minutes Til Dawn is a fantastic action roguelike that will scratch that Vampire Survivors itch.

It’s you against endless waves of nightmare creatures.

You’ll be armed with an evolving arsenal of weapons, magic, and upgrades, you’ll craft insanely overpowered builds to mow down Lovecraftian horrors and fight your way to daylight.

Each run is different, with tons of upgrades, unique characters, and powerful Runes that carry over between attempts.

Whether you’re blasting monsters with a shotgun, summoning lightning, or commanding magic spears, the only question is—can you survive until dawn?

CLEAN UP THE AFTERLIFE!

GENRE: METROIDVANIA, ADVENTURE, ACTION, ATMOSPHERIC

Crypt Custodian is a metroidvania where you play as Pluto, a mischievous cat who just died and got stuck with the worst afterlife gig—being the underworld’s janitor forever.

Armed with your trusty broom, you’ll battle monsters, solve puzzles, and unlock new abilities as you explore a huge interconnected world.

Along the way, you’ll meet a bunch of quirky, banished ghosts, upgrade your gear, and even plan a way to sneak back into the palace you got kicked out of.

It’s a mix of charming, spooky, and just the right amount of chaotic fun!
