Game #1 - Haste

RUN LIKE HELL BEFORE THE WORLD ENDS!

GENRE: FAST PACED, ACTION, FEMALE PROTAGONIST, ROGUELITE

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC, MAC, LINUX, STEAM DECK

I’ve been watching this game develop over the past few months on Instagram and is now finally released!

This game comes Landfall Games who made Stick Fight, Content Warning, TABS and Rounds. So they have a great library of games!

HASTE: Broken Worlds is a super fast-paced third-person runner where you're literally trying to outrun the end of the universe.

You play as Zoe, sprinting, soaring, and sliding through a bunch of collapsing, procedurally generated levels called Shards.

If you mess up too much, the level crumbles, and it’s game over.

The game’s all about mastering movement, perfecting your landings, and using over 90 different items to tweak your build as you go.

It’s got a cool cast of characters, a mysterious story, and even an endless mode once you’ve nailed the main run.

Basically, it’s like Mirror’s Edge meets Hades—if the ground was constantly disappearing under your feet.

Game #2 - Blood Typers

TYPE FAST OR DIE SLOW!

GENRE: SURVIVAL HORROR, ONLINE CO-OP, TYPING, OLD SCHOOL

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC

This is a genre that I never thought I’d like, but I’ve really changed my mind about it!

…plus it’s heavily inspired by Resident Evil so I was willing to try it out!

Blood Typers is a twist on survival horror—you fight zombies, explore creepy movie sets, and manage your inventory using nothing but your keyboard.

Every action, from blasting enemies to opening doors, is done by typing commands, and if you mess up a word then things can take a turn for the worst haha.

You can play solo or in 1-4 player online co-op, teaming up to survive a haunted film studio where horror movie sets are bleeding into reality.

There’s limited resources, creepy old-school vibes, and procedurally generated levels full of secrets, locked doors, and typing challenges that will seriously test your WPM (Words Per Minute).

There have been a few hit typing games now and I have grown to really like them.

GOOD OR BAD OPINION?

READER OPINION: "The justification of "it's supposed to be hard" is used to excuse a lot of poor design in the Soulsborne games."

Game #3 - Huntsman

YOU MIGHT WANT TO BRING A FLAMETHROWER FOR THIS ONE!

GENRE: SURVIVAL HORROR, SPIDERS, SHORT, 3D

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC

Huntsman is a short survival horror game where you're stuck in a small office with one major problem—a giant spider is lurking, and it wants to eat you.

Inspired by the tight, self-contained segments of Resident Evil, you'll search for items, solve a few puzzles, and figure out how to take down the eight-legged nightmare before it takes you out first.

It’s compact, creepy, and perfect if you’ve got 15-30 minutes to spare and want to get properly creeped out—especially if spiders already freak you out.

Game #4 - 4D Golf

GOLF IN A WHOLE NEW DIMENSION

GENRE: CASUAL, GOLF, MINI GOLF, ABSTRACT, FIRST PERSON

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC, MAC, LINUX, STEAM DECK

4D Golf is what happens when someone looks at regular golf and says, ā€œYeah, but what if it broke your brain a little?ā€

It’s a wild, trippy golf game set entirely in 4-dimensional space, and yes—it’s just as mind-bending as it sounds.

You’ll be putting your way through over 120 levels, dealing with weird physics, shifting gravity, hidden paths, and all kinds of space-warping challenges.

There’s even a Platforming Mode if you're more into racing than relaxing.

Want to really mess with your perception? You can build your own 4D courses, customize your gear, and unlock new worlds as you go.

It’s part puzzle, part golf, and full-on dimensional chaos—in the best way possible.

Game #5 - Sledders

AN AWESOME SNOWMOBILE SIM

GENRE: RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, TURN-BASED, ROGUELITE

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC, STEAM DECK, PS5, XBOX SERIES X, XBOX SERIES S

Sledders is a realistic snowmobile simulator where you tear through massive, snow-covered backcountry maps with your buddies—or solo if you're just vibing.

The snow feels super real, so you’ll need to actually learn how to control your sled: shift your weight, throttle through turns, and avoid getting buried in deep powder.

It’s all about freeriding, exploring huge open terrain, mastering the physics, and pushing your skills to reach the highest peaks before your friends do.

Whether you’re jumping ridges, weaving through trees, or sinking your sled for the hundredth time, this game’s got that authentic sledhead energy.

Plus, with multiplayer and even bigger maps on the way, it’s just getting started.
