Game #1 - Windowkill

AN INSANELY ORIGINAL MECHANIC THAT YOU’LL LOVE!

GENRE: ACTION, ACTION ROGUELIKE, BULLET HELL, 2D

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC, LINUX, STEAM DECK

I love how unique this game idea is!

Windowkill is a wild, experimental shooter where you’re not just dodging enemies and bosses—you’re also fighting the game window itself.

As you blast away at hordes of enemies, the actual game window keeps shrinking and moving around your screen, and you’ll need to shoot its edges to push it back and survive.

It’s got all the good roguelike stuff—permadeath, upgrades, perks, unlockable characters, bosses, and even local co-op—but with a chaotic twist that messes with your entire screen.

If you’re into fast-paced action, weird mechanics, and a bit of screen-breaking madness, Windowkill is the perfect game to get.

Game #2 - The Farmer Was Replaced

CODE YOUR WAY TO FARM AUTOMATION

GENRE: PROGRAMMING, AUTOMATION, IDLER, PUZZLE, LOGIC

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC, STEAM DECK

The Farmer Was Replaced is a programming meets farming sim where you code a drone to automate an entire farm, so you can just hit “execute” and sit back while the robot does the grind for you.

However, you will need to think carefully about your instructions to maximize efficiency.

Using a simple Python-like language, you’ll teach your drone to plant, harvest, collect resources, and optimize everything for max efficiency.

As you farm, you unlock new tech, upgrades, and trickier challenges, all while sharpening your problem-solving and coding skills.

Whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced programmer, there’s plenty here to push your brain and scratch that automation itch—no sweaty farm work required.

GOOD OR BAD OPINION?

OPINION: "There's nothing wrong with a game copying another games formula."

"If it was popular and especially if I enjoyed it now it just got more great content. Not EVERY game can be an original."

Game #3 - Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom

CHAOS FUELED N64 COLLECTATHON

GENRE: DRIVING, N64, COLLECTATHON, COLORFUL

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC, MAC, LINUX, STEAM DECK, NINTENDO SWITCH, PS4, PS5, XBOX ONE

Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom is a wild, retro-inspired platformer that throws you into colorful, hand-crafted levels packed with collectibles—but here’s the twist: there’s no jump button.

Instead, you’ll dash, flip, and bounce your way across the map, chaining together moves to reach ridiculous spots (including places the devs probably didn’t expect you to).

It’s a total collectathon paradise, stuffed with quirky characters like Pizza King and Ultra Chad, all wrapped up in a bizarre conspiracy on Granny’s Island.

Made as a pure passion project by two devs, it’s got N64 nostalgia, absurd humor, and chaotic energy in every corner.

If you love old-school platformers with a weird twist, this one’s ready to mess with your head.

Game #4 - Egging On

I’M SURE THIS WILL BE EGGS-HAUSTING!

GENRE: PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR, DIFFICULT, RAGE, DEMO

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC

Egging On is a rage-inducing climbing game where you play as a wobbly little egg trying to escape the henhouse and conquer kitchens, shops, and all sorts of dangerous places.

If you fall or slip too far then you’ll crack and have to start again!

If you like games like Chained Together, Getting Over It or Jump King then you’ll love to hate this game.

The game is yet to be released, but I’m really confident this will be a hit and you’ll likely see every Youtuber play this when it comes out.

Game #5 - So To Speak

LEARN JAPANESE BY EXPLORING, NOT STUDYING

GENRE: EDUCATION, PUZZLE, LANGUAGE, FOREIGN, SIMULATION, COZY

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC, MAC, LINUX, STEAM DECK

So to Speak is a chill, puzzle-style game where you wander through Japan—peeking at signs, listening in on conversations, and using context clues to figure out what words and phrases mean.

Instead of drilling vocab or doing grammar exercises, you connect Japanese words to things in the environment (like matching the sign for “entrance” to an actual entrance) and slowly build up your understanding.

It’s got over 650 words to uncover across cities, temples, gardens, and rural towns, and it’s designed so no background in Japanese is needed—just curiosity and a bit of patience.

It’s a love letter to the experience of exploring a new country and learning as you go, without the stress of textbooks or quizzes.
