Game #1 - A Webbing Journey

WHOLESOME WEBBING CHAOS!

GENRE: EARLY ACCESS, WHOLESOME, PHYSICS, SANDBOX

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC, MAC, LINUX

I’m excited to play this game as I’ve watched it develop over the past few years. The dev has been working relentlessly for the past 4 years and they’ve created a really unique game!

In A Webbing Journey, you play as Silky, an adorable little spider with a big heart and endless webs.

Your human roommates are off doing boring adult stuff, so it's your job to swing around the house, build crazy webs, and help out with everyday chores like baking cookies or watering plants—in the most chaotic way possible.

The whole house is your playground, full of physics-based objects to mess with, secrets to discover, and lots of stuff to accidentally (or intentionally) break.

It’s part cozy sandbox, part spider-powered mischief, and all about having fun your own way.

Game #2 - Drop Duchy

MEDIEVAL TETRIS ROGUELIKE?

GENRE: PUZZLE, STRATEGY, ROGUELIKE, SINGLEPLAYER, INDIE

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC, STEAM DECK

Tetris meets tactical empire-building in this clever strategy puzzler.

You'll build up your kingdom tile by tile—placing blocks like in Tetris, but with a twist: every piece you drop grows your economy, boosts your defenses, and powers up your army. Once you’ve stacked your realm just right, you march off to fight enemy forces in tactical battles.

Lose? No worries. You keep your progress and unlock new cards, upgrades, and perks for your next run.

Between different factions, over 100 unlockable cards, and loads of missions, it’s a game built for addictive replaying.

A unique idea that I’m glad was made!

Game #3 - Aviassembly

DESIGN, FLY IT, CRASH IT?

GENRE: EARLY ACCESS, FLIGHT, BUILDING, PHYSICS, CRAFTING, SIMULATION

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC, MAC, STEAM DECK

In Aviassembly, you're not just flying planes—you’re building them too.

Slap together wings, engines, and cargo bays to make your dream aircraft (or at least one that won’t nosedive immediately).

Take on missions to earn cash, haul weird cargo across a big open world, and upgrade your plane so it flies farther, faster, and doesn’t explode mid-air.

You’ll explore new airports, unlock better parts, and if all else fails, jump into creative mode and build something completely ridiculous just because you can.

I love this game so much! Being able to build your creation and test it out is a mechanic I’ll always love.

Game #4 - CLICKOLDING

CLICK FOR CASH… AND SOMETHING WORSE.

GENRE: PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR, FIRST PERSON, SCI-FI, CLICKER

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC

In CLICKOLDING, you’re stuck in a creepy hotel room with a masked man in the corner who really wants to watch you click a tally counter. That’s it. Just click. For money. But the more you click, the weirder things get—and the less human either of you feel.

It’s a dark, surreal little narrative game you can finish in one sitting, packed with unsettling vibes, weird jazz, and questions you probably don’t want answered.

This game was made by Strange Scaffold, the team behind hits like I Am Your Beast and El Paso Everywhere.

If you’re looking for an absurd and tense game this weekend, then this might be a good pick for you.

GOOD OR BAD OPINION?

OPINION: "$70-$100 is a reasonable price for today's AAA games."

Game #5 - Tiny Glade

CREATE STUNNING CASTLES WITHOUT ANY RULES!

GENRE: DESIGN & ILLUSTRATION, BUILDING, RELAXING, SANDBOX

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC, STEAM DECK

Tiny Glade is all about chill vibes and cozy creativity. There’s no pressure, no goals, and nothing to manage—just you, a field, and the freedom to sketch out adorable castles, cottages, and ruins however you like.

The game magically fills in the details, making everything look storybook-perfect as ivy climbs your walls, sheep wander by, and fireflies light the night. It’s like stress-free castle doodling with a sprinkle of magic.

Tiny Glade was a mega hit at the end of last year and it’s not hard to see why!
