Game #1 - Cauldron

AN EXTREMELY UNDERRATED MINI GAME & UPGRADE FOCUSED RPG

GENRE: MINI GAMES, IDLER, CASUAL, TURN BASED STRATEGY

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC, STEAM DECK

Cauldron is like if an RPG and a bunch of weird but really fun mini games fell into a cauldron together—and the result is totally brilliant.

You play as Nyx, a sharp-tongued young witch dropped into a dark, monster-filled world—joined by a cast of strange allies and a loudmouth pink sidekick who never stops talking.

Instead of grinding the usual way, you play all sorts of goofy minigames to gather resources. Then you dump those into massive upgrade trees for your party, your gear, your minigames—even your minigames get minigames.

Every minigame you play can be upgraded and leveled up, so it becomes more efficient and even more chaotic over time.

Whether you love micromanaging stats or just want to smash the ā€œauto everythingā€ button, this game’s cool with it.

Fight monsters, collect loot, unlock more heroes, and slowly transform into a completely overpowered spell-slinging monster squad.

This is a great genre mix and I’m really glad I found Cauldron. I highly recommend.

Game #2 - Shipwrecked 64

A LOST 90s CARTOON GAME THAT WENT HORRIBLY WRONG…

GENRE: HORROR, PUZZLE, EXLPORATION, PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC, STEAM DECK

Shipwrecked 64 starts off like a cutesy late-'90s platformer — you’re a beaver named Bucky, helping your cartoon pals escape a tropical island after a fishing trip goes wrong.

But things get weird fast.

Behind the retro visuals and cheerful premise is something darker. Like… much darker. Glitched levels, creepy messages, disturbing moments, and a story that spirals into a meta-horror mystery.

This isn’t just a game — it’s an ARG (alternate reality game), meaning the real experience involves decoding clues, sharing notes with others online, and maybe even digging outside the game to uncover what’s really going on.

There are two versions to play:

  • A more stable 2023 version

  • The original unstable (and much creepier) ā€œ1997 modeā€

Expect multiple endings, secrets in every corner, and a slow breakdown of reality — both in-game and maybe outside of it.

If you liked Petscop or Doki Doki Literature Club, you’re gonna love unraveling this one.

Game #3 - Once Upon A Jester

A HEIST FULL OF HEART

GENRE: STORY RICH, ADVENTURE, CUTE, CASUAL, INDIE

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC

In Once Upon a Jester, you and your best buddy Sok are just two lovable goofballs traveling a whimsical fantasy kingdom… totally not trying to steal the Royal Diamond or anything.

To pull off the heist of the century, you’ll have to charm your way into the Royal Theatrical Spectacle by becoming the greatest improv theatre act in the land.

That means putting on bizarre, hilarious, and heartfelt performances wherever you go — complete with original songs, wacky costumes, and unpredictable choices.

Along the way, you’ll meet a pesto blob, a friendly wendigo, and a tree with identity issues.

What starts as a silly scheme might just turn into a touching journey about friendship, creativity, and the magic of making stuff up on the spot.

It’s weird, musical, cozy, and completely one-of-a-kind — like a bedtime story written by theater kids on a sugar high.

If you’re looking for something funny, heartfelt, and refreshingly original, Once Upon a Jester is the curtain call you didn’t know you needed!

Game #4 - Star Birds

BUILD SPACE BASES FOR YOUR BIRD BUDDIES

GENRE: STRATEGY, CASUAL, CITY BUILDER, BUILDING, 3D

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: TO BE ANNOUNCED

A game for anyone who loves the Kurzgesagt - In A Nutshell Youtube channel or the game Dorfromantik.

In Star Birds, you’re helping a crew of adorable spacefaring birds turn a bunch of floating asteroids into a thriving, interstellar mining operation.

You scan for resources, build tiny sci-fi factories on lumpy space rocks, automate production chains, and slowly uncover some galaxy-sized mysteries.

It’s got chill base-building, charming visuals inspired by Kurzgesagt, and a cozy, curious vibe that’s perfect for fans of Dorfromantik.

Think resource management, sci-fi exploration, and zero stress—just a lot of birds, pipes, and oddly specific requests.

Build, optimize, and maybe discover something weird out there…

The full game’s coming soon, but you can dive into the demo now!

GOOD OR BAD OPINION?

OPINION: "The PS5 era of games has been a total let down. Compared to PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4 the PS5 hasn't had enough games after 5 years of release."

"It will be time for the PS6 before the PS5 has contributed anything worthwhile.""

Game #5 - Make Way

BUILD THE TRACK, BLOW UP YOUR FRIENDS

GENRE: RACING, PARTY, CHICKEN AND HORSE, LOCAL MULTIPLAYER, MULTIPLAYER

AVAILABLE PLATFORMS: PC, STEAM DECK, SWITCH, PS5, PS4, XBOX SERIES S, XBOX SERIES X, XBOX ONE

Make Way is a fast, chaotic party racer where the real fun starts before the race. You and your friends snap together wild track pieces—think loops, corkscrews, train crossings, and seesaws—then immediately have to race on the monstrosity you just built.

It’s top-down mayhem with up to six players, full of goo cannons, Tesla coils, and respawn-fueled revenge.

After every round, you bolt on more track segments, turning your course into an ever-growing disaster zone.

It’s part Mario Kart, part Hot Wheels fever dream, and it’s got cross-platform multiplayer so no one’s safe from your next explosive shortcut.

Another highly underrated game!
