Game #1 - Stick It to the Stickman

BRAWL YOUR WAY UP THE CORPORATE LADDER

GENRE: EARLY ACCESS, ACTION, 2D FIGHTER, BEAT 'EM UP, ROGUELIKE, MULTIPLAYER, CO-OP, FUNNY

AVAILABLE ON: WINDOWS, MACOS, LINUX, STEAM DECK (VERIFIED)

I’m loving this game so far!

Stick It to the Stickman is a physics-based brawler where you fight endless waves of red stickmen on your path to becoming the boss.

You’ve got hundreds of over-the-top attacks - from staple guns to chainsaws - and each move is as ridiculous as it sounds.

Whether you're solo or teamed up with a friend in local co-op, you’ll leap off windows, dash across desks and deliver parcels between brutal takedowns.

It’s platformer meets roguelike carnage and it is fantastic!

Game #2 - Project Silverfish

S.T.A.L.K.E.R LIKE INDIE GEM

GENRE: FPS, EXPLORATION, IMMERSIVE SIM, SANDBOX, 3D, SHOOTER, HORROR, DARK

AVAILABLE ON: PC, STEAM DECK

In Project Silverfish, you're an "Inheritor" with custom classes or pre-made archetypes and it’s all about survival through brains, brawn and tech.

You've been dropped into a desolate, post-apocalyptic exclusion zone where humanity is basically extinct.

You’ll scavenge for artefacts, tackle missions and contracts, navigate anomalies and dungeons and piece together the dark secrets of your people’s past.

There are factions competing for control, monsters lurking around every corner and no hand-holding - your decisions shape everything.

It’s immersive sim meets detective work meets brutal FPS chaos.

Another great indie gem.

Game #3 - Tiny Bookshop

YOUR COZY MOBILE BOOKSTORE BY THE SEA

GENRE: COZY, MANAGEMENT, LIFE SIM, CASUAL, RELAXING

AVAILABLE ON: WINDOWS, MACOS, LINUX, NINTENDO SWITCH

In Tiny Bookshop, you leave it all behind to run a cozy second-hand bookstore out of a little trailer by the ocean.

Stock shelves, decorate your shop and help quirky locals find their next read while uncovering the secrets of the seaside town.

It’s a warm, narrative-driven management sim about books, people and living the slow life.

Game #4 - Grimshire

A FARMING SIM WHERE EVERY DECISION COULD COST A LIFE

GENRE: PIXEL GRAPHICS, FARMING SIM, DARK, SURVIVAL, COZY, NATURE, RPG, RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, AGRICULTURE, LIFE SIM

AVAILABLE ON: WINDOWS, MACOS, LINUX, STEAM DECK (VERIFIED)

Grimshire isn’t your typical cozy farm game - it’s Stardew Valley raised by Frostpunk.

Sure, you’ll plant crops, raise critters, decorate your home, and get to know the villagers.

But here, food spoils if you don’t preserve it, every villager can die, and neglecting your farm has real consequences.

One day you’re sharing a touching moment with a new friend, the next you might be attending their funeral because you didn’t plan well enough.

You’ll tame wild critters instead of buying animals, preserve food to survive winter, and balance supplies to keep the village alive. It’s cozy yet melancholic - a farm sim where your choices truly matter.

This is a game that I think is really helping move the farming genre forward. The farming genre has been a bit stale for a while. Grimshire is definitely worth checking out.

Game #5 - Voidborn

ULTRAKILL + DARK SOULS = VOIDBORN

GENRE: FPS, ACTION ROGUELIKE, FAST-PACED, ARENA SHOOTER, SPECTACLE FIGHTER, BOOMER SHOOTER, GUN CUSTOMIZATION

AVAILABLE ON: WINDOWS, STEAM DECK

This is one of my personal favorite indie gaming gems!

Voidborn is essentially ULTRAKILL meets Dark Souls.

Voidborn is a brutal dark-fantasy roguelite FPS where you’re this unstoppable being built to kill.

You dash, slide, wall-run and reflect bullets whilst fighting rooms of demons and overpowered bosses.

After each room you are given upgrade options (stamina, abilities etc.) that make every run feel unique.

Also, when you inevitably die, you come back stronger.

Overall I really love playing this game. This is a really underrated indie game.

One of the most impressive parts of Voidborn is the environment. You’ll be blown away by how good the game looks and it was all made by 1 dev.

Definitely worth having a look!
