Game #1 - Daemonologie

THOUGHT PROVOKING WITCH HUNTING HORROR
GENRE: HORROR, DETECTIVE, MYSTERY, EXPERIENCE, STOP MOTION
AVAILABLE ON: WINDOWS, STEAM DECK
Daemonologie is an atmospheric and thought provoking horror experience that has you play as a witch hunter who arrives in a small 17th century Scottish village, tasked with finding out who is the “witch” tormenting the community.
You have 5 days to “interview” the locals and find out who the witch is. After the 5 days the person you believe is the witch will be executed.
The game is inspired by the horrifically real events that took place in Scotland (Similar to that of the Salem Witch trials) during the late 16th / early 17th century as a result of King James VI’s obsession with witchcraft.
The game is named after the book King James IV wrote on witchcraft - “Daemonologie”.
You spend each day talking to the locals and finding out what has been going on in the village and who they may believe is behind the strange events.
This leads to rumours and accusations that a divide and destroy the community.
Besides from talking to the locals you must use torture methods to extract more information from them.
This feature is well implemented. Capturing the horrific nature of torturing presumably innocent individuals without undermining the point the game is trying to make.
The atmosphere and visuals are absolutely stunning. The stop motion “visions” that your character experiences are beautifully made. The 2D illustrations are really well crafted and the villagers feel like real people with authentic dialogue.
Some of the reviews I read didn’t like the ending, but I personally thought the end was perfect.
The game is only around 25-30 minutes, but well worth the price.
I would recommend Daemonologie to anyone that loves atmospheric horror that is story heavy. If you don’t like games which focus more on story and experience than gameplay, then it may not be for you.
Overall, I loved this experience!

Town to City is a charming voxel city builder where you begin with a blank canvas and create your own slice of 19th-century Mediterranean paradise.
You can place every detail freely - homes, shops, parks - without being locked into grids.
As people move in, you’ll juggle jobs, resident needs, decorations and economies across multiple towns that can grow solo or together.
There’s a campaign if you want direction or sandbox mode to wander creatively.
With beautiful visuals, a cozy atmosphere and meaningful management beneath the surface, it’s a game where building your town feels both soothing and satisfying.

If you LOVE Vampire Survivors, but prefer 3D, then you’re going to love this!
This game is so well made, I really love it!
The goal is to survive as long as you can, whilst building your character into an absurdly powerful being.
Megabonk has a lot of personality and really focuses on FUN!
This game was made Vedinad who has been documenting the process on youtube.
Congrats to Vedinad on releasing his game! 🙂

Game #4 - The Boba Teashop

A COZY HORROR GAME ABOUT RUNNING A BOBA TEASHOP
GENRE: PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR, HORROR, FIRST PERSON, 3D, SIM

You play as Risa, who is tired of the corporate grind and decides to set up a boba teashop.
You’ll prepare drinks, serve customers, expand your menu and build a shop with warmth and charm.

The game walks the line between cute café sim and psychological horror, blending daily work with creeping dread.
A nice genre blend!
