❤️ It’s Friday once again! 🎉 I’m back from my holiday and the newsletter is finally back to normal.

🆕 I’ve added a new section highlighting interesting free demos. Most games I cover are either just released or have been out for a while. So to help out more indie devs and allow you to help shape indie games before they come out, I’ve add a “demo” section. This will help devs get feedback and wishlists for their games and also allows you to try out some fun upcoming indies.

Kill The Crows is a top-down arena shooter with a really great twist.

All enemies in the game can be eliminated in 1 shot, but what makes it interesting is that you will also perish if just 1 shot hits you.

Timing, planning and utilising your special abilities really comes in handy here.

One wrong move and it’s over!

A highly underrated indie game - worth checking out!

A GENIUS RAGE GAME IDEA. (UP SH**’S CREEK!)

GENRE: CASUAL, PARKOUR, RACING, CO-OP, SINGLEPLAYER

Paddle Paddle Paddle is a really funny rage game that has you and a friend paddle your way up a river filled with deadly obstacles.

You control one paddle and your friend controls the paddle. See how far you can get!

Not one for the faint-hearted! 😆

A STUDIO GHIBLI INSPIRED ADVENTURE!

GENRE: ADVENTURE, EXPLORATION, ACTION, 3D PLATFORMER

This game is so beautiful. Mainly because it is heavily inspired by Studio Ghibli’s artwork!

Europa is a peaceful, story-driven adventure set on Jupiter’s moon which has been transformed into a lush, green world after humanity’s fall.

You play as Zee, an android searching for answers.

The core gameplay element is exploration. (with really satisfying movement!)

But there also some light puzzles to be solved which help piece together the story of the last human.

So if you want to escape from reality and explore another world, in a meditative way, then you should play Europa!

VERY SIMPLE, BUT HIGHLY ADDICTIVE! (MADE BY A READER OF IGP!)

GENRE: ACTION, ARCADE, TOP-DOWN, DIFFICULT, FLIGHT

I had a solo dev who reads IGP reach out to me and let me know that he works on his own indie projects.

He has put out some starter projects just to get used to making games and publishing them. It would be aweome if you checked them out!

I’d love for IGP to be a community that helps each other out. A place for devs and those who love playing indie games to collaborate.

Rockit! is a difficult, top-down, flight arcade game that wants to know how long can you survive?

The controls are simple. Left and right arrow keys to steer your rocket in the correct direction. The vehicle moves in a drift like fashion.

Your aim? Don’t crash into anything!

Each level has its own obstacles and unique challenges that make you want to play and play again, until you beat your high score.

It’s a very simple idea executed really well!

NEW - Try Out Some Demos!

I’ve added this new section to help give more attention to indie games that haven’t released yet.

Demos are great for many reasons. They give devs feedback and allow the community to help shape the game before the final release.

They also help indie devs get wishlists for their games. Wishlists are the most important metric prior to release on Steam.

So if you can help them out by giving them wishlists that would be amazing! They don’t cost anything but will majorly help boost the game’s visibility on Steam. :)

What’s it about?

An online co-op detective horror for 1 - 3 players. Work together to investigate your customers, as some are only pretending to be human. One mistake, and you’ll be boarding up, setting traps, and hiding. Runs aren't randomly generated in this demo, but they will be in the full release.

What’s it about?

Ollie, kickflip, and grind your way through the ash and smoke of the Underworld as you take on a seemingly impossible quest. Skate fast to destroy demons and save other tortured souls on your journey from fragile beginner to a hardened skater.
