❤️ Happy Friday Everyone! 🙂 I’ve been away for a while as I had to prioritise working on my indie game so that I can release it soon. But I’m back now and I have lots of indie gems to share again!

WOW! ONE OF MY FAV INDIE GAMES OF RECENT TIMES!! (HIGHLY RECOMMEND)

Far Far West is a chaotic co-op shooter where you and your friends play as robot cowboy bounty hunters taking dangerous jobs in a supernatural Wild West.

It’s action packed, highly addictive and easily one of my favorite indies this year!

If you love looting and shooting, mixed in with upgrading weapons and skills, then you’re going to have a blast!

Definitely one to check out if you haven’t played or heard of it yet!

IMMERSIVE CYBERPUNK SIM (RECOMMENDED BY YOU!)

GENRE: EARLY ACCESS, IMMERSIVE SIM, CYBERPUNK, DARK, SINGLEPLAYER

The second game in this awesome puzzle series!

Peripeteia leaves you in a grimy alternate-history cyberpunk Poland where you play as Marie, a cybernetic mercenary taking dangerous jobs in a city drowning in corruption and conspiracy. (Today’s email has a theme haha)

What makes the game stand out is how open ended everything is - you can sneak, hack, climb, shoot or talk your way through missions, and nearly every rooftop, sewer, or hidden alley can actually be explored.

The in game world is really well made. It feels dense and immersive.

Weapons, ammo and gear all exist as real objects that you must manage yourself, while missions also let you manipulate factions, improvise plans or completely break the intended route if you can.

This was recommended to me by one of my readers and I’m very thankful that they did!

If you like Deus Ex or Thief, then you will likely love it!

PUPPET COMBO HAS MADE HIS OWN BACKROOMS GAME…

GENRE: STORY RICH, RPG, CHOICES MATTER, ISOMETRIC, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS

AVAILABLE ON: PLAYSTATION, SWITCH, XBOX SERIES

Puppet Combo is one of my favorite indie game devs. He specialises in retro, unnaturally eerie, PSX horror games that are usually inspired by 70/80s VHS horror movies.

He made Stay Out of the House, Nun Massacre and Murder House.

Now he has decided to make his own version of The Backrooms…

Puppet Combo is well known for his style, so I’m really interested to see how he brings that to The Backrooms!

For now the game is only available on consoles, Playstation, Xbox and Switch.

I’m not sure if he plans to release on Itch or Steam later, but if you have a console, then I highly recommend playing this!

THE NEWEST ARRIVAL IN THE COZY CHAT ROOM GENRE

GENRE: EARLY ACCESS, MULTIPLAYER, ONLINE CO-OP, CUTE, RELAXING

Sledding Game is latest big hit in the cozy chat room genre which was revived by 2024 indie gem Webfishing.

The game’s real aim is for you to relax and make memories with your friends whilst sledding.

There’s no pressure, just have fun and hang out over voice chat whilst you mess around.

There is more than just sledding to do, but nothing stressful.

The perfect game for a cozy weekend in.

TIDYING AND ORGANISING A LIBRARY IS INCREDIBLY THERAPEUTIC!

GENRE: COLLECTATHON, PUZZLE, HIDDEN OBJECT, RELAXING, IMMERSIVE SIM

AVAILABLE ON: WINDOWS, STEAM DECK (VERIFIED)

These devs have managed to turn something mundane into a satisying and somewhat addictive cozy game.

Your task is simple, sort and shelve over 3,000 books in the Arcane Library.

As you organise and place books, you’ll unlock new abilities which will help you shelve the books quicker and in more satisfying ways. (Think auto sorting spells etc.)

It reminds me of the game Leaf It Alone. A simple concept made addicting, with satisfying upgrades.

What’s it about?
